You are invited to become a frequent visitor to the Ministries pages of the church's website. Here you will find abundant resources that will encourage you in your Christian walk with Jesus.You will be able to reaffirm that Mt. Carmel Church is a well organized body of believers in Jesus Christ, that seeks to accomplish His Great Commission as recorded in Matthew 28:19, 20, NIV, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and peaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."  

All departments or ministries of the church may not be currently listed. What is shown will probably be sufficient to show the over-all range of church interests and activities. Should member or guest have a question about a ministry not listed, please feel free to contact us by emailing the webmasters through www. ministries @mtcarmelsda.org, or contacting calling 302-735-4575 for information or to make constructive suggestions.

Departmental leaders are urged to submit a brief discriptiion of specific ministry profile, feeling free to edit what is offered so far, if anything. All of our efforts are for the glory of Jesus Christ and setting forth as positive a profile of our church as time, talent, and know-how increases. God bless you as you consider being an active participant in some ministry of our church as a member or frequent guest.

Adult Sabbath School - Join one of our adult Sabbath school lesson study groups. Every week small groups get together to share what they learned from the lesson and how it has made a difference in their lives.

Communications and Audio Visual - The Mt. Carmel Communications and Audio Visual Departments. These twin departments are headed by David Jones and Deacon Roy Parker, respectively. Larry Cooper, Jr. is an active technician in both departments. Our interests are multifaceted. We aim to keep an up-to-date Calendar of Church Events posted on this site to assist members and interested visitors informed as to church services and events. We intend to record essential events of the church for archieval and dissemination purposes. We are building a libraries of photos, videos, and taped scens to be accessible to members and others after request as time and equipment permit. We will soon share information on fees for media requested, i.e., CDs, DVDs, or VHS formats. Requests may be given to Larry Cooper, Jr. or emailed to ministries@mtcarmelsda.org. Thank you.

Music Ministries

Pathfinder Club - The Pathfinder Club is part of a world-wide co-ed scouting type organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Juniors and teens in grades 5-12 of any religion, or none at all, are welcomed and encouraged to join this ministry.

Women's Ministries - Women's Ministries provides the opportunity for women to grow spiritually and socially through a network of support groups active in the church.

Youth Ministries - Youth Ministries provides support and encouragement for young people at what can be a most critical part of their Christian experience.
