Communications and Audio Visual
The Communications/Website is headed by David Jones who also serves as amateur photographer. Larry Cooper, Jr. has also made important graphic contributions to our church website.
Audio-Visual Services is an important component of the communications department. Deacon Roy Parker, Brother Marlin Bramble, Keisha Jarmon, and Elder Terrence Nichols are the leaders and technicians who serve the church in these important services.
The department's AV responsibilities and tasks include providing acceptable microphone management, access and amplification for all sanctuary services, video and cassette recordings of Sabbath and Special sanctuary services, editing, storage, and distribution or sales of recordings. A recent expansion of AV services includes the projection of sanctuary services into the old sanctuary or annex for overflow services. The 40' flat screened tv used for this function was a project and donation of our Fifty Plus Club to our youth and church in 2007.
